B.A. in Environmental Studies

The curriculum for the Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies provides an integrated foundation in both the social-political-cultural and the scientific-technical areas.

An environmental studies degree prepares students for a host of professions, for graduate work in environmental studies or the environmental sciences, or for a lifetime of environmentally aware citizenship.

Undergraduate students may also consider the joint degree/early assurance programs in environmental studies with Columbia University,  or pursue a a teaching career by earning their master’s degree in one additional year of study.
