Domestic Field Work

Research the South Shore Estuary
Our students and faculty utilize the 75-mile South Shore Estuary Reserve, which stretches from Queens to Southampton, to study human impacts on the environment.

Anthropology Field Work in Alaska
Environmental Studies majors have the opportunity to participate in field work programs in Alaska through the Department of Anthropology.

Study Abroad

Adelphi students have the opportunity to study abroad for one semester or for the whole academic year nearly anywhere in the world.

There are also trips during intersession, spring break, and summer sessions that are led by Adelphi faculty. These short-term programs often focus on community service and/or specific academic areas such as business, arts, sciences, social work, or healthcare.

In particular, the Department of Environmental Studies offers the Adelphi in Australia program during summer session.
